Biographical and Professional Information

Dr. Robert L. Munkres retired from the faculty of the Muskingum College (Ohio) department of political science in June 1999. During college, he worked as a seasonal ranger/historian for the National Park Service at Fort Laramie National Historic Site in eastern Wyoming. Dr. Munkres belongs to the Western History Association, the Western Social Science Association, the Wyoming State Historical Society. He has served on the editorial advisory board of the Journal of the West and Annals of Wyoming.
