Biographical and Professional Information
A teaching professor at the University of Wyoming, Paul Flesher is an active writer and researcher in the academic study of religion. He is an expert in Late-Antique Judaism, specializing in the ancient origins and development of the ancient synagogue and in the Aramaic translations of the Hebrew Bible known as the Targums. He also writes the twice-monthly newspaper column called Religion Today, which is accessible as an online blog at:
