Biographical and Professional Information
McClure was graduated in 1967 from Wayne State University in Detroit with a degree in Journalism. In Detroit he worked for United Press International Newspictures and the Detroit Free Press. In 1971 he returned home to Wyoming where he worked as chief photograper for the Casper Star-Tribune, freelanced and worked as Public Information/Relations Officer for Wyoming Indian Schools.
He produced two interpretive photographic exhibits "Wyoming: Tradition and Tradition" (1980) and "Artifact: A Cultural Geography of Wyoming" (2003). These exhibits are 74 and 90 photographs respectively, considered a documentary resource, and are in the traveling exhibits program at the Wyoming State Museum.
