Biographical and Professional Information

K.B. (Karen) Ross was born and raised in Wyoming. The youngest of seven children, education was deemed essential by K.B.’s teacher mother. The author received a BA degree at the University of Wyoming and an MA from Adam’s State College at Alamosa, Colorado. After thirty years of teaching in various communities in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado, retirement allowed the freedom to return home to Wyoming’s Platte Valley and the sisters and brothers residing there.

Writing was always part of K.B.’s life. Children’s magazines including Highlights for Children published short stories written through the years. When offered a chance to write and publish novels, K.B. wasted no time taking advantage of the new great adventure.
