"There are two places I love: Africa and Wyoming." --Ernest Hemingway
Ernest Hemingway spent time fishing in northern Wyoming, including a lot of time at Nordquist's Ranch east of Yellowstone National Park, where he fished and hunted. It is said that he wrote "The Green Hills of Africa" at the ranch in 1933 and 1934, as well as "Death in the Afternoon" and "To Have and Have Not."
