Biographical and Professional Information

Although, Diana L. Driver currently lives in Texas, she was born in Cheyenne and her mother resides in Laramie. Before becoming a writer, Diana was geophysicist and even earned a personal commendation from French President François Mitterand. With the birth of her first daughter, she gave up her professional career to become a stay at home mom.

With the release of Ninth Lord of The NightDiana realized her lifelong dream of becoming a writer and is currently working on the sequel. Diana is the founder of The Final Twist, a local Houston writers group.

Her short fiction includes The End of the Tour, Dead and Breakfast Mystery anthology, Die Mahnung, A Death in Texas mystery anthology, and the soon to be released, Valentine's Day in A Box of Texas Chocolates multi-genre anthology. Her nonfiction book, The Maya, The People of the Maize will be released in 2009.

Diana is proud to be a daughter of the great state of Wyoming and has always carried Wyoming in her heart. When she was a child her nickname was “Diane from Ole Cheyenne.”
